Nadira Izmaylova

Nadira Izmaylova is the CSS Rebel Ascendant’s technical operator, responsible for communications, travel records, and the electronic traces of the crew’s covert work. She also prepares their physical disguises. The polymer masks used on Clonmel soften cheekbones and change jawlines while Alex supplies the corresponding synthetic genetic identities.

She is small and dark-haired, with high cheekbones, and often keeps her jacket zipped against the cold. She uses the Uzbek family word xola as a private joke. Aboard ship, she keeps medical supplies organized and knows which headache treatment will spare someone thirst and irritability.
