Alex Dakota-Kinsworth

Alex Dakota-Kinsworth combines the roles of pilot and engineer aboard the Rebel Ascendant. He runs the ship from within, where the crew’s intended movements depend on working systems and a vessel ready to respond.

Two connected responsibilities

Piloting and engineering meet in the practical state of the ship. A route is useful only if the vessel can make the movement it requires. The Ascendant’s covert role adds another demand: her capabilities must remain available beneath an appearance designed to look harmless.

The opening assignment

During preparations for Clonmel, Alex works deeper inside the ship as the crew’s temporary identities are established through the relay chain. His part in the mission is therefore visible before the vessel has to carry anyone away.

The role complements Nadira’s technical operations and Kaid’s command. Together they connect the plan on the bridge to the machinery and information that make it possible.
