Alex Dakota-Kinsworth is the CSS Rebel Ascendant’s pilot and engineer. His work includes propulsion, repairs, communications handshakes, and the technical systems supporting the crew’s false identities. During the Clonmel insertion, he remains aboard while feeding synthetic DNA overlays into those identities through the relay chain.
Broad-shouldered, with short blond hair, Alex is frequently at a diagnostic console or beneath a machinery housing. He visited Clonmel with his parents and remembers its native trees and their deep root systems. Seeing them cleared during the occupation distracts him enough that Kaid has to call him back to the operation.
